Solar Module Super Alliance member Yingli Solar has started construction of a new 5GWN TOPCon cell facility in northern China. The factory is located in the Mancheng Economic Development Zone of Baoding City, and is invested 2.5 billion yuan by the solar energy manufacturer. However, Yingli said the output value of the land will exceed 6.5 billion yuan.
Yingli said that the production line is expected to start operation in the first quarter of 2023, using MES intelligent manufacturing system, AGV logistics transportation system, WMS quality management system and other platforms to achieve high automation and low carbon emissions.
The launch of the industrial park is our important layout in the N-type TOPCon field, said Xiong Jingfeng, CEO of Yingli. Relying on the national standard innovation base, we will continuously improve the technological competitiveness and realize the upgrading of production capacity.
