Recently, I learned from the Hebei Public Resources Trading Center that the XJEPC investor's bidding results for the general contracting of the EPC project of the newly built Xiangyang-Jingmen high-speed railway have been released. The project has a planned construction period of 42 months and is scheduled to start in October 2022.

Project Overview

The newly built Xiangyang-Jingmen high-speed railway leads from Xiangyang East Station and goes south through Yicheng to Jingmen West Station of the Shanghai-Chongqing High-speed Railway along the Yangtze River. The new line is 116.23 kilometers long. There are four stations on the whole line: Xiangyang East, Yicheng North, Shuanghe West and Jingmen West. Among them, Xiangyang East is the existing station, Yicheng North and Shuanghe West are new stations, and Jingmen West is the station under construction. The total investment of the approved project is 18.832 billion yuan.

Main technical standards: railway grade: high-speed railway; design speed: 350 km/h; number of main lines: double lines; distance between main lines: 5.0 meters; minimum plane curve radius: general 7000m, difficult 5500m; maximum slope: 20‰; The effective length of the arrival and departure line: 650 meters; the train operation control mode: CTCS-3 train control system; the dispatch command mode: dispatch centralized.
