Recently, the construction sites of Liaoning Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel and Guangming Road Extension Project have entered the finishing and sprinting stage! According to the plan, the Dalian Bay Undersea Tunnel and the Guangming Road extension project will be ready for traffic in 2023.

Progress of Guangming Road Extension Project

At present, the lower structure of Zhenlian Road Overpass is 80% complete, and the upper structure is 50% complete. The main construction of the bridge will be completed by the end of 2022.

The tunnel excavation of Guangming Road has exceeded 1,300 meters, accounting for 90% of the total; 60% of the main structures of Zhenlian Road Interchange and 201 National Road Interchange have been completed; Before the end of 2022, the main structure construction of the Guangming Road extension project will be completed.

Progress on the subsea section of the tunnel

As one of the important projects of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel, the docking of the offshore immersed pipe and the construction in the pipe are being carried out simultaneously. At present, all 18 immersed tubes have been docked on the seabed, and the workers are stepping up the construction work in the tubes.

Progress of the South Coast Land Section

The foundation pit excavation of the land section on the south bank of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel has been completed, the main structure is 70% complete, and the connecting road is 30% complete. In the next stage, the project team will make every effort to promote the construction of the main structure of the tunnel, the supporting integrated pipeline network, and the connection road.
