On August 24, 2022, at the construction site of the station building in Wucui District, Yichun City, Yichun City, the Yi section of the Haiyi high-speed railway, with the smooth drilling of the first pile foundation, it marked the official opening of the Yichun West Station, the northernmost high-speed railway station in the country. The start of construction will once again refresh the latitude of high-speed rail construction in the country.

Overview of Yichun West Railway Station

The newly-built Yichun West Station is located at the south side of Yichun Power Plant, Wucui District, Yichun City. The largest station building on the whole line adopts a line-side down-type station, which can accommodate 1,500 passengers at the same time.

The station has 2 platforms and 4 lines, and the station building is a structure with 3 floors above ground and 1 floor underground. The railway department has fully considered the functional positioning of the line, combined with the station layout, and adopted a "three-segment" layout of the station building, equipped with advanced and complete service facilities. , the departure hall is set on the left.

The thickness of the frozen soil layer at the construction site of Yichun West Station is 2.9 meters, with high sensitivity to frost heave and poor stability, which brings great difficulties to the construction. The project uses this new technology to solidify, compact and reinforce the soft soil to prevent and control the freezing damage of the foundation. This is also the first high-performance material technology in the world.

The progress of the Haitian high-speed railway

Located in the central part of Heilongjiang Province, the Haiyi high-speed railway line is the northernmost high-speed railway under construction in China. The line starts from Tieli City and ends in Yichun City, with a total length of 111.4 kilometers. , Riyue Gorge, Yichun West three passenger stations, of which Riyue Gorge and Yichun West Station are newly built station buildings, and Tieli Station is a rebuilt station building.

The first project of the Haiyi high-speed rail line will start in April 2021, and it has now entered the construction stage of beams and station buildings.
