At 9:00 am on August 24, 2022, the first train of the China-Europe freight train Chengyu (Guangyuan) loaded with 50 40-foot container cargoes with a total value of about RMB 11 million departed from Guangyuan South Station. The train will carry coated paper, storage water heaters and laser cutting machines. It will pass through Alashankou in Xinjiang and finally arrive in St. Petersburg, Russia.
