The cumulative capacity for flexible transformation of coal-fired power units has exceeded 200 million kilowatts, the supply capacity of renewable energy power generation equipment has been continuously improved, the wind power and solar power generation equipment can meet the installed capacity demand of more than 1.2 billion kilowatts, and the nuclear power equipment can meet the installed capacity demand of 70 million kilowatts.

Focus on the development of onshore wind turbines above 8MW and offshore wind turbines above 13MW, and develop deep-sea floating offshore wind power equipment. Breakthroughs in new fixed support structures, main bearings and key power modules of converters for ultra-large offshore wind turbines. Increase basic simulation software research and application of sliding bearings, and research and develop wind power blade decommissioning technical routes.

Strengthen the survey, design and installation of offshore wind power in far-reaching sea areas. Promote the application of 12-15MW ultra-large offshore wind power equipment, and promote the integrated design, construction, and application of floating wind power equipment foundations in deep water areas.

Cultivate and apply new models and new formats. In areas where the construction cost of transmission lines is relatively high, such as remote islands, develop the hydrogen production technology of wind power + electrolysis of water. Cultivate the wind power + desalination model in areas such as islands where freshwater resources are scarce. In remote areas, promote distributed wind power + smart microgrid. In suitable offshore wind farms, promote the wind power + fishery + tourism model. It is encouraged to explore the pilot application of integrated wind-solar storage equipment in combination with desert, Gobi, desert and other scenarios, focusing on key power-using enterprises.
