Line 9, as an express line running through the main urban area in the southwest-northeast direction, will connect the new station, Yaohai, the old city, the Economic Development Zone, and Feixi County. Line 9 is expected to have 8 stations in Feixi, namely Bieshanhu Road Station, Lilingshan Road Station, Central Huamucheng Station, Chuangxin Avenue Station, Zhanqian Road Station (transfer with the extension of Line 3), Renmin Station. Line 6 Phase II

The construction scope of the second phase of Metro Line 6 is from Dongfeng Avenue Station to the core area of Hefei East New Town, and intersects with the East Extension Line of Line 2 at Yaogang Road Station, which can realize rapid transfer.

The rail transit Line 7 project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase of the Line 7 project has officially started in December 2020. The second phase of the Line 7 project is in the preliminary research stage, and the specific line station plan has not yet been finalized.

At the same time, according to regulations, the line must be included in the near-term construction plan of rail transit and reported to the state for approval, and then the feasibility study, preliminary design work and relevant approval procedures can be carried out before construction can begin.

Line 8 Phase II

The first phase of the Metro Line 8 project is currently in full swing. The second phase of the project is a continuation of the line continuing to the south.

The second phase of Line 8 has a total of 15 stations, from the North First Ring Station to the Shenzhen Road Station in Binhu, showing a straight line throughout.

Although the construction of the second phase of Line 8 has not yet started, it was recently learned from the Hefei Development and Reform Commission that the municipal support reservation project of the line network control and emergency rescue command center has been established and preliminary work has been carried out.
