On August 30, 2022, the pre-qualification announcement for the pre-qualification of bidding for the construction of the Chongqing-Songming section of the new Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway four-electrical system integration and related projects was released. The Chongqing-Kunming high-speed rail four-electrical system integration and related projects are scheduled to start in December, and are divided into two sections, the Sichuan-Chongqing section and the Yungui section.

Project Overview

The line starts from Chongqing West Railway Station, passes through Jiangjin District and Yongchuan District of Chongqing City, Luzhou City and Yibin City in Sichuan Province, Bijie City in Guizhou City, Zhaotong City and Qujing City in Yunnan Province, and finally ends at Kunming South Railway Station. The main line is 699 kilometers long, of which 681 kilometers are newly built, and 18 kilometers are used on the Zigong-Yibin high-speed railway under construction. 20 stations will be set up on the whole line.

Simultaneously build the line to Chongqing West Railway Station and the Yuqianchang Relief Line, the connecting line to Songming Station of Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway, and the connecting line to Luoyang Town, rebuild the Chongqing-Guizhou Railway between Chongqing West and Jingkou Station as a double line, and build a new Kunming West Railway Station , Chongqing West Railway Station 8 line EMU inspection warehouse.

Bidding scope

The design mileage of the newly built Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway from Chongqing West to Songming is DK2+464~DK675+509.9, and the main line length is 645.109 kilometers.

The number of main works of the four power projects is: about 3873.05 kilometers of optical cables for communication, about 3813.3 kilometers for signal laying, about 4875.78 kilometers for power cables, 326.072 kilometers for tunnel lighting, 12 traction substations, and 14 AT substations. There are 25 AT stations, 1,642.93 kilometers of catenary, and 3,064.06 kilometers of positive feeders and protection lines.
