On August 31, 2022, Tuoketuo County and Jiuhe Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement of 3.7 billion yuan for the new energy storage power station project in the Hohhot Tuoqing Economic Development Zone. Gao Tianxia, head of Jiuhe Energy Inner Mongolia Co., Ltd., and Gao Zheng, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county head, attended the signing ceremony.

It is understood that the new energy storage power station project in the Hohhot Tuoqing Economic Development Zone plans to invest 3.7 billion yuan. It is planned to build an energy storage power station, a 220kV booster station, and a comprehensive building, covering an area of about 105 acres. The implementation of the project will provide key support for the larger-scale development of clean energy in our county, to achieve the dual-carbon goal, and to promote the transformation and upgrading of the regional energy structure.

Gao Tianxia introduced the basic situation of the energy storage power station project, saying that Tuo County has favorable policies and favorable business environment, and the strategic cooperation between the two parties has a solid foundation and broad prospects.

Gao Zheng said that he hoped that the two sides will use the signing of the agreement as a starting point to further strengthen docking exchanges, fully negotiate, and strive to promote project construction to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
