On August 30, 2022, shortly after the project feasibility study was approved, the tender announcement for the review of construction drawings of the new Nantong-Ningbo high-speed railway was released at the Nanjing Public Resources Trading Center. The project has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission with the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission on the feasibility study report on the new Nantong-Ningbo high-speed railway. The project owner is Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway Passenger Dedicated Line Co., Ltd.

Project Overview

The new Nantong-Ningbo high-speed railway line starts from Yancheng to Nantong West Station of Nantong High-speed Railway, passes through Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province, Jiaxing City and Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province, and finally ends at Ningbo Hub, Ningbo Station.

The total length of the line is about 309.8 kilometers, including 300.7 kilometers of new lines, 9.1 kilometers of existing lines, and 10 stations. A new double-track railway bridge across Hangzhou Bay will be built. Simultaneously build the Jiaxing South Railway Station Shanghai-Kunming Line, the line and the Xiaoyong Line, the Suzhou North Railway Station and the parking lot, expand the Ningbo Railway Station, and reserve the construction land for the Jiaxing South Railway Station. The total project duration is 5 years.

The planned construction period of this tender section: from the date of signing the contract until the project passes the completion acceptance.
