National Highway 217 Kuqa to Shaya Highway Project
Route direction: The starting point of the route is at K1077+000 of the old G217 line. The existing G217 line is about 5.5km south of the Yanshuigou toll station. There is a level crossing. The west side is connected to the G3012 line Tuhe Expressway, and the Tuer interchange is set up. This section of the road is constructed according to the secondary road standard, with a route length of 14.018km. The route passes through the G3012 line, Tuhe Expressway, and then goes east along the north side of the planned reservoir and the south side of the Qiuci Airport. It crosses the Vietnam-Xinjiang Railway and travels about 7.6km. It crosses with the existing National Highway 217, and a Kuqa South Interchange is set up. , and then the route is away from the old road to the south and is about 1km parallel to the old road. The route passes through the west side of Bixibag Township. After the route avoids the village, go south to Qiman Town, set up a bridge at K34+330 to cross the Indaria River, set up the Qiman Town Interchange near K42+130, and continue the route south and enter at the station K42+725 Within the scope of Shaya County, cross the Xiaoeraiken River on K56+050, pass through Nuerbak Township, go southward from the east side of Kuoshidun Village, the west side of Adam Village and Yingawati Village, and cross to the south Weigan River to the east of Beihailou Township, Shaya County. The route goes south from the west side of the Shaya County planning area. The Shaya County Interchange is set up at K73+813 to connect to the main road of Shaya County. The route turns to the southwest through the east side of Kashibake Village, and passes through the north of Kizile Tamu. The end point is located in the southwest of Shaya County, near Kizile Tamu Village, 1.1km north of the existing G217. The overall direction of the whole line is from north to south.
Construction scale: The total construction mileage of this project is 80.38km, of which 66.362km of first-class highway is adopted, with a design speed of 100km/h, and a second-class highway section of 14.018km with a design speed of 80km/h. A total of 997/4 (m/block) of new bridges, 1080.4/19 (m/block) of middle bridges, 560.7/26 (m/block) of small bridges, 39 passages, 151 culverts, 4 interchanges, and road monitoring 1 communication station, 4 toll stations, 1 service area, 1 maintenance area. The vehicle load level of bridge and culvert design adopts highway-I level. Simultaneously build the necessary traffic engineering and facilities along the line.
According to the approval of the feasibility study report, the total investment of this project is 3.387 billion yuan, of which the total static investment is 3.251 billion yuan. The planned construction period of this project is 2.5 years.

Construction scale: The total construction mileage of the project is 166.40km, of which the main line is 163.40km long. The entire line is constructed using a two-way 4-lane first-class highway with a design speed of 100km/h. A total of 1,628m/1 extra-large bridge is set up in this project, and 1,088m/1 extra-large bridge is widened by using the original bridge; The middle bridge is widened by 524m/10; the small bridge is 2002.58/99, and the original bridge is used to widen the small bridge by 1357.32 m/67; a total of 592 culverts, 4 interchanges, 24 plane crossings, and 2 service areas are set up. There are 3 parking areas, 3 maintenance areas, 1 management sub-center and 2 toll booths. The tie line is 3 kilometers long and constructed according to the standard of a third-class highway, with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour and a roadbed width of 8.5 meters. The design vehicle load level of bridges and culverts on the whole line adopts highway-I level, and necessary traffic engineering and facilities along the line are constructed simultaneously.
