Recently, the 14.6-kilometer-long Jinyong Railway Qianshiyan Tunnel constructed by the China Railway 14th Bureau has been successfully completed, marking a breakthrough in the construction of the Jinyong Railway, the first “double-layer high container” transportation railway in China.

Qianshiyan Tunnel is the longest railway tunnel under construction in Zhejiang Province. It starts from Xikou Town, Fenghua City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province and ends at Jinting Town, Shengzhou City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. It is a single-hole double-track railway tunnel. The tunnel site area is a low denuded mountainous area with steep mountains and severe water erosion and cutting. It passes through 7 fault zones, 5 joint dense zones and 2 lithologic contact zones. The geology is complex, the excavation technology and safety risks are high, and the construction is difficult. It is a controlled project of the Jinyong Railway.

Jinyong Railway is an important node project in the economic development of the country's Belt and Road Initiative, with a total length of about 188.3 kilometers. It starts from Jinhua West Station of Shanghai-Kunming Railway and ends at Ningbo Station of Hangzhou-Ningbo Railway. 160 kilometers, 200 kilometers reserved.

After the completion of the Jinyong Railway, it will realize the interconnection between the world's small commodity capital (Yiwu) and the world's largest port (Ningbo Zhoushan Port).Editor/Ma Xue
