On September 13, 2022, Beijing Energy Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Zhengxiangbaiqi People's Government signed the "Zhengxiangbaiqi Hunshandake Desert Photovoltaic Sand Control Ecological Restoration and Rural Revitalization Industrial Development Integration Base" “Framework Agreement on Industrial Investment Cooperation of Green Power Project in Beijing”.

According to the agreement, Jingneng International will actively participate in the planning, design and preliminary preparations of the green power base project in Beijing, and invest, construct and operate large-scale clean energy base projects in the model of government establishment, enterprise carrying, and complementary advantages to help Beijing and the realization of the "double carbon" goal of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The total planned investment scale of the project is 99 billion yuan, of which the development capacity of clean energy such as photovoltaic, wind power, solar thermal and energy storage is 10GW, and the investment is about 50 billion yuan.

At the ceremony, Sui Xiaofeng, deputy general manager of Jingneng Group, introduced the project of Jingneng Group's "Green Power into Beijing" base. He pointed out that under the background that the country is accelerating the realization of the "dual carbon" goal, green energy cooperation has become one of the important contents of the Beijing-Mongolia cooperation, which can better combine Inner Mongolia's green resource advantages with Beijing's market advantages.

As a wholly state-owned comprehensive energy enterprise in Beijing, Jingneng Group shoulders the mission of ensuring the security and supply of electric power in the capital, and insists on taking Jingmeng cooperation as its share and responsibility. After the project is connected to the grid, about 20 billion kWh of "green electricity" can be delivered to Beijing every year, which will promote the replacement of new energy sources in the capital and achieve carbon neutrality goals ahead of schedule. He said that the "Green Power into Beijing" base project, as an important content and effective carrier of the Beijing-Mongolia collaboration, as a realistic need to help Beijing take the lead in realizing the goal of carbon neutrality, is the "top priority" of Jingneng Group. Jingneng Group warmly welcomes friends from all walks of life to visit and negotiate, and establish long-term friendly cooperative relations, discuss development together, and promote the early operation of the project.

Beijing-Mongolia Hundreds of Enterprises and the 2022 Beijing-Mongolia Industry Matching Launch Ceremony, jointly organized by the Rural Development Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Beijing Municipal Support and Cooperation Office, aims to deepen the all-round multi-field cooperation between Jingmeng and Mongolia, and graft the industrial chain of Inner Mongolia and the needs of Beijing. Chain, promote chain extension, supplement chain, strengthen chain, promote the intensive development of industrial agglomeration, help Inner Mongolia consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and promote rural revitalization.
