Project Overview

The south extension project of Changchun Urban Rail Transit Line 1 is a north-south backbone of rail transit. The line passes through Yongchun New District in Changchun, which can effectively play the TOD role of rail transit, guide the expansion of urban space and the rational development of urban patterns, and drive the development of Yongchun New District. Construction, strengthen the connection between Yongchun New District and the main urban area; build urban transportation corridors with rapid rail transit as the backbone.

The south extension project of Line 1 is laid along the planned Renmin Street, starting from the area behind Hongzuizi Station, the terminus of the first phase of the project, and passing through Yihe Village North Station, Yihe Village Station, Xingbo Road Station, and Yihe Village South Station to the south , Yongchun North Station, end at Yongchun South Station.

The total length of the south extension project is 7.146km. There are 6 stations and 1 transfer station on the whole line, which is Yongchun North Station, which transfers with the planned Shuangyang Line.
