On September 19, 2022, the key control project of Chongqing Yusui Expressway double line (Beibei to Tongliang section) - Yunwushan No. 2 tunnel right line was successfully completed. This is the first through tunnel of Yusui Expressway double line. The construction of the T-beam frame of the Xiaoanxi Bridge will open up the transportation channel.

The Yusui Expressway double-track project starts from Xiema Street, Beibei District, and connects to the “one horizontal line” of the urban expressway, passes through Beibei Xiema, Bishan Qitang, Yifeng, Tongliang Lanfeng, Pulu, and ends at Xindian, Dongcheng Street, Tongliang District It is connected with the Tongliang to Hechuan section of Chongqing Third Ring Expressway, with a total length of 27.238 kilometers.

The main line adopts the standard construction of two-way six-lane expressway, with a design speed of 120 km/h. The whole line is connected with Xiema, Yifeng, Xindianzi hubs, Jinyunshan Tunnel, Yunwushan No. 1 Tunnel, Xiaoanxi Bridge and other control projects.

Up to now, the overall construction of the Yusui Expressway double-track project has been progressing smoothly, with 42.82% of the civil works completed, of which 52.80% of the roadbed works, 44.37% of the bridge and culvert works, and 39.78% of the tunnel works have been completed.Editor/Ma Xue
