The relevant person in charge of the Department of Water Ecology and Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment introduced on September 19, 2022 that in 2018, the "Action Plan for the Protection and Restoration of the Yangtze River" was issued and implemented. After three years of hard work, the ecological environment of the Yangtze River has undergone a turning point, and the phased goals and tasks have been successfully completed. The action plan proposes four key tasks.
