On September 19, 2022, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation of the Ordos carbon fiber whole industry chain production base project was held in the Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

Gao Yidong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Secretary of the Dongsheng District Committee, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhang Pengcheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone, attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Dongsheng District Committee Deputy Secretary and District Mayor Han Tao presided over the signing ceremony. Relevant leaders of Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Dongsheng District and relevant persons in charge of enterprises attended the signing ceremony.

At the ceremony, I listened to the introduction of the project; the directors of Lantian Group Holdings, Mengfa Energy Holding Group Co., Ltd., Great Wall Assets Fund Company, and Inner Mongolia Hengxin Industrial Group made speeches; the Ordos carbon fiber full industry chain production base project was successfully signed.

The total investment of the contracted project is 6 billion yuan. Through the cooperation with upstream and downstream partners, the 10,000-ton/year high-performance carbon fiber project will be promoted to settle in the Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It will mainly produce T800-T1000 high-performance carbon fiber products. And 6 carbonization lines, forming a scale of 30,000 tons of raw silk, 10,000 tons of carbon silk and 5,000 tons of composite materials. The downstream layout of the carbon fiber industry will include a production base with an annual output of 100,000 hydrogen storage bottles and an annual output of 30,000 hydrogen fuel heavy trucks. Base and other projects, the annual output value will exceed 10 billion yuan. Through the construction of carbon fiber, carbon fiber composite materials and carbon fiber upstream and downstream production bases, a complete industrial upstream and downstream industrial cluster will be cultivated, driving the Ordos new energy and new material industry to achieve the development of the entire industrial chain, and helping regional carbon peaking, carbon neutralization and other major strategic goals accomplish.

The successful signing of this project is another important achievement of Erdos High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Dongsheng District's in-depth development of business investment and industrial chain investment. It is also an important measure to accelerate the development of the entire industrial chain of new energy and new materials. At present, Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Dongsheng District are in a critical period of promoting high-quality economic and social development. The implementation of the project will surely inject new vitality into the transformation and upgrading of regional industries and the promotion of green and low-carbon development.
