On September 22, 2022, Anhui Hefei Public Resources Trading Center released the tender announcement for the construction of the reconstruction and expansion civil works of the Guangde-Xuancheng section of the Shanghai-Chongqing National Expressway in Anhui Province. Project Overview

The reconstruction and expansion project of the section from Guangde to Xuancheng in Anhui Province of Shanghai-Chongqing National Expressway starts near Jiepai Village, Taozhou Town, Guangde City, passes through the north of Guangde City District, Oath Town, Shizi Town, and Honglin Town, and ends at Xuancheng City. Zhouzhou District, connecting the Xuancheng to Wuhu section of the Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway to be renovated and expanded. Simultaneously upgrade the existing Guangde South Line. The total length of the project is 91.554km, and the total length of the quality improvement section of Guangde South Line is 22.009km.

The 25.909km section from Jiepai Junction to Hugu Junction is newly built using the standard of a two-way six-lane expressway, with a subgrade width of 34.5 meters. The design speed of the 74.930km connecting section from the starting point to Xuancheng East is 120km/h, and the design speed of the 16.624km connecting section between Xuancheng East and the end is 100km/h. The 22.009km Guangde South Line maintains the original four-lane expressway standard, with a design speed of 100km/h and a roadbed width of 24.5 meters. Existing roads, bridges and culverts will be repaired and strengthened, management and service facilities will be improved, and traffic safety facilities will be transformed according to current standards.

Guangde North Line has 11 bridges, 9 middle bridges, and 86 culvert channels; 1 extra-large bridge, 5 bridges, 25 middle bridges, 19 small bridges, and 328 culvert channels in the reconstruction and extension section of the old road; Guangde There are 1 bridge, 5 middle bridges, 14 small bridges, and 93 culvert passages in the quality improvement section of the southern line. Current Situation: Guangde East Interconnection, Guangde Interconnection, Guangde West Interconnection, Oathjie Hub, Xuanguang Hub, Xuancheng East Interconnection, and Xuancheng West Interconnection have adopted in-situ reconstruction and expansion; Jiepai Hub, Gaohu Interconnection, Huagu Hub, and Honglin Interconnection have a total of 4 interconnections; the Xuancheng hub is fully used for interconnection. Set up 8 ramp toll stations, 1 monitoring center, 1 maintenance work area, and 2 traffic police barracks. One Honglin service area was added, the Lvjin service area was rebuilt in situ, and the Guangde South service area was retained as it was.
