On September 24, 2022, the successful bidders for the construction of the total price contract for the construction of the Chengdu-Yingshan section of the newly built Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou Railway were announced and released. The Chengdawan high-speed railway project will officially start construction in October, with a planned construction period of 5 years and a total project investment of about 21 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The construction sites of this project are located in Ziyang City, Suining City and Nanchong City.

Construction Scale: The project started from the Chengdu hub and was built from the Tianfu Railway Station. After using the Chengdu Railway to Ziyang West Railway Station, the new line will pass through Ziyang City, Suining City, Nanchong City, Dazhou City in Sichuan Province and Kaizhou District and Wanzhou District in Chongqing City. , access to the existing Wanzhou North Station.

The total length of the line is 486.4 kilometers, including 432.4 kilometers of new railways and 54 kilometers of railways under construction. There are 13 stations on the whole line, including 7 new stations. Supporting the expansion of the Tianfu EMU application station, the reconstruction of the existing 15.4-kilometer railway line, and the newly built 4-kilometer Sui railway connecting line and other related projects. Design speed: 350 km/h.

The planned construction period is 5 years, the planned start date is October 1, 2022, and the planned completion date is September 30, 2027.
