On September 26, 2022, the winning bidders for the unit price contracting of the civil works of the newly built Jinan-Weihai high-speed railway line in Jinan were announced and released. The project is divided into 6 tender sections for civil construction. The construction will be officially started in October with a planned construction period of 4 years.
Project Overview
The newly built Jinan high-speed railway line leads from Jinan East Station, and goes to Licheng District, Gaoxin District, Zhangqiu District, Economic South City, and crosses the Yellow River together with the planned G308 National Highway, passing through Jiyang District and Shanghe County of Jinan City, and continues. Go eastwards through Huimin County and Bincheng District of Binzhou City, and connect to Binzhou Station in Binzhou Area.
The length of the main line is 145.299 kilometers. There are 6 stations in Jinan East, Yaoqiang Airport, Jiyang, Shanghe, Huimin, and Binzhou on the whole line, including 4 new stations and 2 existing stations. Yaoqiang Airport Station is an underground station, and Huimin Station is an elevated station. . Design speed: 350km/h, 200km/h from east Jinan to Jiyang.
Planned construction period: 48 months, the planned start date is September 30, 2022.
