On Oct 3, 2022, PowerChina completed the physical handover of the 230-kilovolt (kV) substation project in Bajentphu, Thailand. It is understood that the project is the fourth substation project that Power China has handed over in the Thai market this year, following the 500 kV substation in Ubon, 115 kV substation in Pachu and 500 kV substation in Banburi, which fully shows the strong performance ability of Power China in the Thai power market.

Bachen Substation

The Bajan Substation, the first AIS station built by the National Power Authority of Thailand (EGAT) in Bajan Phu, is one of the important hubs of the backbone network in central Thailand. The completion and operation of the project will effectively alleviate the shortage of power supply in the central and eastern power grids, and provide a solid guarantee for the stable operation of the backbone network and regional industrial development.

In the process of implementing the contract, the project team actively implemented the strategic requirements of the group's international business localization development.
