Recently, the 2 million kilowatt optical storage integration project in Shache County was started in the photovoltaic industrial park.

The project is located in the photovoltaic industry base in Shache County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, about 30km from Shache County in the east. A 500 MW/2000 MWh energy storage supporting 2000 MW photovoltaic power generation project will be constructed. The investment is about 12.8 billion yuan, the land area is about 60000 mu, and the annual average power generation is about 4 billion kWh. The project is planned to be constructed in three phases, and the grid connection is planned to be completed in 2024.Editor/Ma Xue
