Weijiachong PUMPED STORAGE POWER Station has a total investment of about 2.5 billion yuan, with an installed capacity of 300 MW and 2 installed units. Based on the daily 6-hour power generation, it is expected to generate 280 million KWH of electricity annually, pump 370 million KWH of water annually, and connect to Tuanfeng power grid at 220 kV. The power station hub project is mainly composed of upper reservoir, lower reservoir, water transmission and power generation system, semi-underground workshop and other buildings. After the project is completed and put into operation, the power station will undertake the tasks of peak regulation, grain filling, frequency regulation, phase regulation, energy storage and emergency standby of Hubei power grid.
