Liu Yuan introduced that the most important thing for front-line maintenance technicians is on-site operation practice. However, in many cases, the failure cannot be repeated, which is the biggest pain point of training. At present, the simulation equipment developed by them can be widely used in various teaching sites.

Liu Yuan said that China is changing from a big manufacturing country to a strong manufacturing country. The level of automation of automobile production workshops is getting higher and higher. The difficulty of electromechanical maintenance is also like "passing the customs and fighting against monsters", which is more "difficult". In 2016, in Chongqing Chang'an Automobile Yubei Plant, the Swiss manipulator in the stamping workshop suddenly stopped running. When the brand maintenance engineer was at a loss and suggested waiting for the manufacturer to send the parts back from abroad for replacement, Liu Yuan decided to give it a try.

In the end, Liu Yuan repaired the equipment in only three hours, saving more than 80000 yuan in maintenance costs, and reducing the loss of more than one million yuan from factory shutdown and line stoppage.

Liu Yuan has cultivated many Chinese technical experts and highly skilled talents, and won the "National Outstanding Contribution Award for Talent Cultivation". He compiled and completed a set of maintenance teaching materials, and wrote and systematized the oral maintenance experience.
