Powerchina has officially signed an EPC contract with Saudi Aramco for the power plant project. Abdulkarim Algamdi, vice president of Saudi Aramco, signed the government contract with Zhu Jing, the Saudi country representative of Power China. Abdullah Algamdi, CEO of Saudi Power Workshop Company (MAKEEN), signed the joint contract with Ren Yuanbo, vice general manager of Shandong Power Construction.

Reported that Saudi aramco power plant project is located in Saudi Arabia's eastern province, adjacent to China in turbine cooperated-builing Saudi Sarah king international comprehensive port infrastructure projects, the main work includes engine assembly workshop, Marine pump assembly workshop and more than 10 affiliated service building floor, main function is to assemble and produce the industrial ship propulsion system and Marine pump. The project is one of the key projects of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" and the core supporting works of Saudi Arabia's King Salaman International Integrated Port Facilities project.

The signing of this project is another significant achievement achieved by Power China in implementing the National Belt and Road Initiative. Upon completion, the project will become the largest engine and Marine pump manufacturing and assembly plant in Saudi Arabia and even the Middle East region. It will help improve the stability and localization rate of the local Marine industrial supply chain and serve as a powerful new engine for the economic and social development of Saudi Arabia.
