As a landmark project for the joint construction of the the Belt and Road, as of September 1, 2022, the China Laos Railway has sent 6.71 million passengers and 7.17 million tons of goods, showing a trend of prosperous passenger and freight transport. Today, like the China Laos Railway, countries along the the Belt and Road are more efficient in connectivity, and significant landmark projects such as the China Thailand Railway, the Hungary Serbia Railway, and the Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway have made positive progress. All of this is due to the great idea with far-reaching influence in the golden autumn of 2013.

By the end of July 2022, 149 countries and 32 international organizations in the world have signed more than 200 cooperation documents on the the Belt and Road with China, forming more than 3000 cooperation projects with an investment scale of nearly $1 trillion. From dams and bridges to ports and railways, the implementation of the the Belt and Road Initiative has brought about the upgrading of infrastructure in countries along the Belt and Road, releasing new development opportunities.Editor/Ma Xue
