A major road improvement project will be implemented in northern Italy. Autostrade per l'Italia, an Italian road company, has budgeted 4 billion euros for road upgrading in Emilia Romagna region. The upgrade and maintenance program will be implemented within four years.
The main plan for the Italian highway project is to upgrade and maintain the highway. This is about twice the budget for road improvement in the previous 10 years. Road improvement works will be carried out in northern Italy.
Widening the A13 route connecting Ferrara and Bologna is expected to cost 800 million euros. The construction of a circular road around Modena will cost 83.5 million euros. A14 connecting Bologna and Ravenna will be constructed.Editor/Xing Wentao
