Recently, the West slope of Jinchang, Gansu Province 500 MW photovoltaic power project contracted by EPC of China Nengjian Anhui Power Construction Company No. 2 has officially started construction.

According to the introduction, the project is located in Xpo photovoltaic Industrial Park, Jinchuan District, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, the east section of Hexi Corridor, belongs to the large-scale centralized ground photovoltaic power station, the construction land is 937 hectares, the total installed capacity of 500 MW, photovoltaic area is composed of 157 photovoltaic array, supporting the construction of a 330 kV booster station. Photovoltaic system adopts block power generation, local voltage boost, centralized grid connection design. Anhui Power Construction Company No. 2 is responsible for the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of photovoltaic field area, booster station and power transmission line.

In the future, after the completion of the 500 MW PV power generation project in the west slope of Jinchang, Gansu Province, it will provide an annual average of 1.05 billion KWH of clean electricity, save 319,000 tons of standard coal and reduce nearly 1.168 million tons of carbon dioxide, which will help increase the supply ratio of renewable energy in Jinchang City and accelerate the construction of a modern energy system in Gansu Province.
