On October 27, 2022, the Beijing Construction Engineering Information Network released the publicity of the bid winning candidates for the pre station construction bidding of the first opening section of the new Tianjin Weifang high-speed railway. The project is divided into two bid sections, with a bid price of 4.99 billion yuan.

Project overview

The newly-built Tianjin Weifang high-speed railway line starts from Binhai Station of Tianjin Terminal, passes through Binhai New Area of Tianjin, Cangzhou City of Hebei Province, Dezhou City, Binzhou City, Dongying City and Weifang City of Shandong Province, and ends at Weifang North Station of Jiqing High speed Railway. The main line is 348.257 km long, with 10 stations. Expansion of Binhai West EMU Operation Station, construction of Tianjin Weijin Qinhuangdao connecting line, Tianjin Weijing Binhai connecting line and other supporting projects of Tianjin hub. New Tianjin Weihai Jinan Qingdao connecting line, Weifang North Depot, Dongying South Depot, Binzhou Station, Dongying South Station, Weifang North Station and other related supporting projects.

The quantity of JWHH project is: 90+210+600+255+105m steel truss cable-stayed bridge, 2-122m simply supported steel truss beam, 22-32m highway and railway combined frame pier approach bridge and other highway and railway combined bridge projects. The following projects are reserved: cable stayed bridge and simply supported steel truss beam section OCS embedded parts, OCS foundation, communication cable trough, power cable trough in simply supported beam section.

Within the scope of simply supported beams, CRTS III type slab ballastless track track slab laying, self compacting concrete layer and base construction do not include ballast track and track laying works. Comprehensive grounding works. Sound barrier on the bridge, greening under the bridge, protective fence, road relocation of drainage facilities, compensation and restoration of the Yellow River, temporary land lease and reclamation, and temporary works. It is planned to start construction on November 1, 2022 and complete construction on October 31, 2026. The total construction period is 48 months and 1460 calendar days. The quantity of JWSD project is: 1 tunnel, starting and ending mileage is DK16+850~DK23+510, length is 6660m, including shield shaft building decoration and structure, water supply and drainage structure and equipment, environmental control air shaft and equipment, power lighting works of interstation air shaft and pump station, and the following works are reserved: embedded parts of contact network in the tunnel, communication cable trough and rail crossing pipe, power cable trough and rail crossing pipe, bulkhead wall of underground structure of Binhai Station and ground connection wall interface. There is one U-shaped groove structure for the subgrade, with the mileage from DK23+510 to DK25+579.66 and the length of 827.38m, including one U-shaped groove canopy and one rainwater pump room. The track works include the laying of CRTS III slab ballastless track slab, the construction of self compacting concrete layer and base, excluding the track laying works. Integrated grounding system. Relocation of roads, temporary land lease and reclamation, and temporary works in tunnel and subgrade U-slot sections. It is planned to start construction on November 1, 2022 and complete construction on July 31, 2026, with a total construction period of 45 months and 1368 calendar days.
