On October 27, 2022, the bid winning candidates for the Beichen Binhai New Area Section of Baodi Binhai New Area Section of the new Beijing Tianjin Binhai New Area Railway were announced. When the Baodi Beichen section of the Beijing Binhai Intercity Railway is about to open to traffic at the end of the year, the construction of the Baodi Binhai New Area section will also officially start, with a planned construction period of 4 years.
Due to the integrated design and construction of Tianjin Airport Station and Binhai International Airport T3 Terminal, the Beijing Binhai Intercity Railway is constructed and opened in sections due to the impact of the airport phase III reconstruction and expansion project.
At that time, the whole line of the Beijing Binhai Intercity Railway will be connected, and air rail transport will be realized with Binhai International Airport; At the same time, it is connected with Tianjin Weihai High speed Railway to form the second channel of Beijing Shanghai High speed Railway.
Project overview
Baodi Binhai New Area Section of the newly-built Beijing Tianjin Binhai New Area Railway starts from Baodi Station of Beijing Tangshan Intercity Railway, and the newly-built line runs southward through Tianjin Baodi District, Tianjin Wuqing District, Tianjin Beichen District, Tianjin Dongli District, and Tianjin Binhai New Area, and ends at Tianjin Binhai West Station.
The line from the center of Baodi Station to the center of Binhai West Station is 97.634km long. There are 5 stations involved in the whole line, including Baodi Station, Baodi South Station, Beichen Station, Tianjin Airport Station and Binhai West Station. Baodi Station is a connecting station and Binhai West Station is an existing station.
Planned duration: 1461 calendar days, planned commencement date: October 31, 2022, and planned completion date: October 31, 2026.
Scope of bidding
The station front works of Beichen Binhai New Area Section of Baodi Binhai New Area Railway from Beijing to Tianjin Binhai New Area will be newly built. The main works include:
The main line is from the boundary of Beichen District to Binhai West Station. The mileage range is DK153+003.13~DIIK193+961.974, and the line length is 40.413km.
Binhai West Depot and running line of Tianjin Hub Supporting Project. The mileage range of new EMU running line is changed from JBDZDK0+000 to JBDZDK1+425.775, and the line length is 1.426km.
The connecting line around the Bohai Sea between Tianjin and Weihai, and the up and down connecting lines around the Bohai Sea between Tianjin and Weihai are 0.398km in total.
Simultaneous implementation project: Beijing Binhai Railway to Tianjin West Connecting Line Project, with 0.95 single track kilometers of up and down lines. Tianjin Airport Line Project has 0.50 single track kilometers of uplink and downlink lines. The up and down lines of the Beijing Tianjin Weihai interconnection line project are 0.52 single line kilometers in total.

Tianjin Airport Line is 0.5km long.
