On October 28, 2022, China Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. released the announcement of the successful candidates for the civil construction bidding of the government and social capital cooperation project of the Fangzheng Shangzhi Section of Tieke Expressway Project. The project is divided into three sections, and three units, including China Railway 23rd Bureau, won the bid respectively. The project budget amount is 5.63 billion yuan.

Project overview

The route of the Project starts from G1011 Hatong Expressway in Huifa Town, Fangzheng County, and is generally parallel to G229 Raogai Highway in the southwest. It passes through Huifa Town, Liutuan Town and Yanshou Town of Fangzheng County, intersects with Sanmo Highway in the north of Yanshou County, and then continues to extend to the southwest. After passing Yanhe Town of Yanshou County, it finally extends to the boundary of Shangzhi County. The total length of the route is 76.736km. The main line of the project adopts the standard of two-way four lane expressway, with design speed of 100km/h and subgrade width of 26m.

A total of 18 river crossing bridgesare set along the line, including 5 large bridgesand 13 medium bridges; Four main bridges 1026.92m in the interchange; There are 23 separation bridges spanning 1822.84m on the main line; The main line underruns 3365.6m/33 separation and overpasses; Two 77.64m passage bridges and 21 passage culverts; Four new Fangzhengxi , Liutuan, Yanshou and Yanhe interchanges will be built; There are 5 unmanned communication stations , 2 service areas and 2 maintenance work areas.
