Recently, the concreting of the lower beam of the south main tower of the Ma'anshan Road Railway Yangtze River Bridge on the Chaoma Intercity Railway, the world's largest span three tower cable-stayed bridge, has been completed, marking the beginning of the construction of the main tower into the middle tower column stage.
Tower 5 is the south bank side tower of the three main towers of the Maanshan Road Railway Yangtze River Bridge. It is a composite structure of concrete and steel. Its transverse design is Type A, and its longitudinal design is Type I, with a total height of 306 meters.
The upper tower column is of steel structure, and the middle and lower tower columns are of concrete structure. The transverse beam of prestressed concrete structure is set between the transverse two tower legs, which plays the role of bearing part of the load of the main beam of the bridge and increasing the transverse stiffness of the main tower. The lower beam is concreted in two layers, with a single pouring height of 4m. This is the second layer of concrete pouring, with a pouring volume of 2653m3 (including synchronous pouring of tower columns).Editor/Ma Xue
