According to the statistics of the national power industry from January to September released by the National Energy Administration recently, the newly added installed power generation capacity in January to September was 114.63 million kilowatts, 22.23 million kilowatts more than the same period last year. Among them, the new installed capacity of wind power is 19.24 million kilowatts, and the new installed capacity of solar power is 52.6 million kilowatts. From the perspective of power generation, from January to September, industrial power generation above designated size reached 6.3 trillion kWh, up 2.2% year on year. Among them, the thermal power generation capacity was 4.4 trillion kWh, up 0.5% year on year; Clean energy power generation such as hydropower, nuclear power, wind power and solar power generated 1.9 trillion kWh, up 6.5% year on year.

By the end of September, the cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.48 billion kilowatts, up 8.1% year on year. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is about 350 million kilowatts, up 16.9% year on year; The installed capacity of solar power generation is about 360 million kilowatts, with a year-on-year growth of 28.8%.

From January to September, the average cumulative utilization of power generation equipment in China was 2799 hours, 87 hours less than the same period of the previous year. Including 3295 hours of thermal power, 49 hours less than the same period last year; 5576 hours of nuclear power, 267 hours less than the same period last year; 1616 hours of wind power, 24 hours less than the same period last year. In terms of power supply investment, from January to September, the investment in power supply projects of major power generation enterprises nationwide was 392.6 billion yuan, up 25.1% year on year.
