It is reported that Line 14, with a total length of 50.34 kilometers, is the first unmanned express line with the longest route length, the largest investment scale and the highest technical standard in the fourth phase of Shenzhen Metro project. It starts from Gangxiambei hub in Futian central District, passes through Futian District, Luohu District and Longgang District, and ends at Shatin Station in Pingshan District, with a total of 18 stations. Covering the north-south traffic demand corridor in eastern Shenzhen with a maximum speed of 120 km/h, the whole journey takes about 55 minutes.
The First Institute of Railway is responsible for the supervision of Futian Station, Gangxia North Station, Huangmugang Station, Luohu North Station and Buji Station of Shenzhen Metro Line 14, Luohu North Station and the scope of the entrance line. The pipeline section under its jurisdiction has dense underground pipelines, many surface risk sources, complex geological conditions, difficult construction technology, and high safety control requirements. It is the longest, largest volume and most difficult construction area of the whole line.
