On November 3, 2022, the public announcement of the successful candidates for the re bidding of the total price contracting LWZQ-2, LWZQ-3, LWZQ-5, and LWZQ-6 sections of the Liuzhou Guangzhou Railway has been made. The project was won by four companies, including China Railway Bridge Bureau and China Railway No.4 Bureau, with a bid price of about 8 billion yuan.

Project overview

Construction site: Liuzhou City, Laibin City, Guigang City and Wuzhou City, Guangxi.

Project scale: The newly-built Liuzhou Guangzhou Railway is located in Guangxi and Guangdong. The line starts from the Jinde Station of Liuzhou Terminal and runs southeast through Xiangzhou County and Wuxuan County under the jurisdiction of Laibin City, Guiping City and Pingnan County under the jurisdiction of Guigang City, Teng County, Cangwu County and Wuzhou City under the jurisdiction of Wuzhou City and enters Guangdong. The line runs 453km long through Fengkai County, Deqing County and Zhaoqing to Guangzhou Terminal under the jurisdiction of Zhaoqing City. The Liuzhou Wuzhou section is located in Guangxi, with a total length of 237.777km and a bridge tunnel ratio of 72.43%. There are 10 stations along the line, including 8 intermediate stations and 2 overtaking stations. The key projects along the line are Zijing Yaoshan Tunnel with a length of 8888m and Panlong Liujiang Bridge with a length of 3787.424m. Relevant connecting lines: the up line of Liuwu passenger cars is 3.728km, the down line of Liuwu freight cars is 4.603km, and the up line of Liuwu freight cars is 4.651km.
