China Railway Construction Corporation signed the Ulaanbaatar Ring Railway Project in Mongolia

Recently, China Railway 20th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Mongolia Bodi International Co., Ltd. signed the EPC contract for the Ulaanbaatar Ring Railway Project in Mongolia. According to the agreement, China Railway 20th Bureau will be responsible for the construction of two tunnels of Ulaanbaatar Ring Railway in the mode of design, procurement and construction, with a total length of 14.6 km.

This key railway, which has been included in the national plan of "Mongolia's Development Road", is one of the main solutions for Ulaanbaatar to achieve urban-rural balance. After the railway is completed and put into use, it can not only greatly reduce the waiting time of trains in the main urban traffic arteries, but also reduce the noise, dust and pollution along the railway. At the same time, gasoline fuel storage facilities, coal transport trains, food and cargo warehouses transported by rail will be far away from the densely populated main urban area.Editor/Xing Wentao
