Building a powerful country in transportation has become a key goal of China's future transportation development. Recently, reporters learned from the press conference of Shaanxi Provincial road construction projects concentrated to start construction, six road projects will be divided into two batches in November and December, with a total investment of about 10.78 billion yuan. The six highway projects include the reconstruction and expansion project from Qujiang to Taiyigong of Baomao Expressway, and the five general national and provincial trunk highway projects from Dazhai to Houguanzhai on the 210 National Highway through Xi 'an, involving Xi 'an, Baoji, Yulin and Ankang, covering Guanzhong, Northern Shaanxi and Southern Shaanxi.
Among them, the section from Qujiang to Taiyigong is an important part of Baomao Expressway in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province. The existing expressway will be expanded by means of joint widening on both sides, with a total length of about 18 kilometers. After completion, it will effectively relieve traffic congestion and greatly improve the traffic service level in the north-south direction of Shaanxi Province. Xi 'an National Highway 201 transit from Dazhai to Houguanzhai Highway Project is a key construction project of the Ministry of Transport and the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Shaanxi Province. With a total length of about 61 kilometers, it is an important passageway running through the north and south in the eastern part of Xi 'an. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, there will be 306 highway projects and general national and provincial highway projects in Shaanxi, with a total investment of over 350 billion yuan. By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the total mileage of highways in the province will exceed 190,000 km, and the total mileage of expressways open to traffic will exceed 7,000 km, and the national expressways within the province will be fully completed. The proportion of ordinary national roads above Grade 2 is 75%, and the proportion of ordinary provincial roads above grade 3 is 70%.
