On November 15, 2022, China's first and the world's largest LNG (liquefied natural gas) transportation and refueling ship was completed and delivered in Nansha, Guangzhou.

The ship is transformed from "Offshore Oil 301", with a total length of 184.7 meters, a shape width of 28.1 meters, and a capacity of 30000 cubic meters of LNG. It is the first LNG carrier independently designed, built, managed, and operated by China. It was officially put into operation in September 2015, mainly serving the secondary transfer of LNG between China's coastal LNG terminals, as well as the international short distance transportation of LNG.

After the completion of the transformation, "Offshore Oil 301" will become a LNG transportation and refueling ship carrying LNG and having LNG refueling function, which can provide ship to ship fuel refueling services for large LNG fuel powered ships berthing at domestic coastal ports.Editor/Ma Xue
