On November 14, 2022, it was learned from the national public resources trading platform that the successful candidates for the second bidding of investors and cooperative contractors of Yongshan Yanjin Expressway had been announced, and the project was won by the consortium of Sinohydro Bureau 14, with a bid price of 16.49 billion yuan.

Construction scale

The project starts from near Ranfangpo in the south of Yongshan County and connects with the end point of Yongshan Branch of G4216 Riverside Expressway. The route passes Songlingang in the southeast. After Zhongba, the route turns to the east, passing Tundu Village, Malu Village, Zhonghe Dam and Xinchun Village. A 9120m Eshan extra long tunnel is set at Xiaojiadianzi across the mountain. The route is laid along the G213 corridor. After passing Mugang Town, a T-shaped hub is set up at Zhumalin and G85 Yinkun Expressway to interchange with each other. After that, it shares 3.82km with G85 Yinkun Expressway, The 11.2km section from Qinglongzui to Shuitian New Area of Zhaole Expressway is fully utilized. The line continues to cross Guanhe River by setting Guanhe suspension bridge in the west. The line runs along the S206 Yanlian Highway corridor in the east, passes through Hekou Village, Niuzhai Township, and enters Sichuan Province, connecting the planned Sichuan Junlian Xuyong Expressway.

The operation mileage of the line is 83.331 km, including 3.82 km of G85 Yinkun Expressway, 11.2 km of Shuitian New Area Qinglongzui Section of Zhaole Expressway, and 68.311 km of construction mileage. Grand bridges 4623/4 (m/set), major bridges 16305/43 (m/set), medium and small bridges 298/4 (m/set), extra long tunnels 31325/6 (m/set), long tunnels 6664/4 (m/set), and medium tunnels 1995/3 (m/set). The total proportion of bridges and tunnels to the total length of the route is 89.60%. There are 3 interchanges, including 1 hub type interchange, 2 service type interchange and 1 pair of U-shaped turns.
