On the morning of November 25, 2022, the commencement ceremony of the first phase project of Yangchun Zhonghe 1000 MW Wind Park New Energy Storage Base, located in Heshui Town, Yangchun City, was held. Lin Guoqing, vice chairman of the Yangchun CPPCC, Xiao Xiaodong, executive vice president of CNNC Nanjing Energy Development Co., Ltd., municipal government office, municipal development and reform bureau and other units as well as leaders of Heshui Town attended the activity.

The total installed capacity of Yangchun CNNC 1000 MW wind and solar energy storage new energy base project is 1000 MW, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. The first phase of the project is expected to be put into production in the middle of next year, which is the first integrated base project in Yangchun that combines photovoltaic, wind power and energy storage.

After the completion of Yangchun CNNC 1000 MW wind and solar energy storage new energy base project, it can provide 1.2 billion kilowatt hours of clean energy power generation for Yangchun City every year. The development of photovoltaic and wind power on the project land, and the development of Yangchun featured agriculture below the project land, so that one land can be used for multiple purposes, which can not only realize the three-dimensional comprehensive value-added use of land, ensure the win-win development of enterprises and local areas, but also contribute to the early realization of the national goal of "carbon neutrality".
