Zhongshan East Outer Ring Expressway Phase II Project

The second phase of Zhongshan East Outer Ring Expressway is about 20.99km long, which is divided into two parts: the north extension line and the south extension line. The first project of the second phase of the East Ring Expressway started this time is the main bridge of Cuiheng North Interchange on the south extension line, which crosses Cuiheng Expressway, Lanheng Road and Yongkou Gate. The total length of the main bridge is 320 meters.

It is reported that the construction drawing design approval was obtained on November 13, 2022, the construction permit approval was obtained on November 22, 2022, and the pile foundation construction was organized in the morning of November 23. At present, the "three supplies and one leveling" work has been completed at the construction site of the first project of the second phase of the East Ring Expressway, and the construction machinery, equipment and personnel have all been in place. After the completion of the Outer Ring Expressway in the east of Zhongshan, it will directly connect with the Shenzhen Zhongyang Corridor under construction, form an expressway network of "one ring, three horizontal and three vertical" with Nanzhong Expressway, Zhongkai Expressway, etc., and a high-speed expressway network of "three rings, five horizontal and six vertical", which will effectively facilitate the connection of the eastern part of Zhongshan with the emerging areas along the line, and reserve sufficient development space for the "eastward movement" of the urban center of Zhongshan.
