Recently, the feasibility study report of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit No. 4 Phase I Project was approved by Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission. The reply to the feasibility study of Line 4 Phase I project marks a breakthrough in the planning and construction of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Phase II.
Line 4 Phase I Project
According to the introduction, the first phase of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 starts from Yucun South Road Station and ends at Dongyuan East Road Station. It is laid along Huiming Road, Huifeng Road, Cangfeng Road, South Second Ring Road, Jianhua Street and Gaoying Street, with a total length of 22.43km, all underground lines and 19 stations. It mainly connects the southwest education and living area, high-density residential areas between the South Second Ring Road and the South Third Ring Road, densely populated residential areas along Jianhua Street, densely populated residential areas along Gaoying Street, Wanda Plaza, Jianhua City Square Business District and other passenger flow distribution points.
As a key project that has been widely concerned and continuously expected by Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee and Government, departments at all levels, and the general public for a long time, Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 and Line 5 are linked into a ring, filling the gap of the rail transit network in the southwest and east areas, and improving the level of the rail network. There is no doubt that the construction of Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Line 4 Phase I Project will help the old industrial zone and other key urban renewal projects to achieve "butterfly transformation", refresh the "happiness index" of people's travel, guide the high-quality sustainable development of the city, and further enhance the comprehensive carrying capacity of the city.
