On November 30, 2022, four public integrated wharf projects in Fengkai, Deqing, and Dinghu port areas of Zhaoqing Port, Guangdong Province, will be signed and fully started, with the designed annual throughput exceeding 90 million tons.

Zhaoqing has a vast water area, numerous rivers and superior navigation conditions. As a major inland river port in China, Zhaoqing Port is an important transportation hub and container feeding port in the Pearl River Delta, and an important support for urban construction, port industry and economic development of Zhaoqing City.

The first phase of the wharf project, which was signed and started in a centralized way, has a total investment of 4.5 billion yuan and a long-term total investment of more than 6 billion yuan. The total length of coastline is about 5400 meters, the land area is more than 1.4 million square meters, and the annual throughput capacity is more than 200 million tons. Under the direct implementation of the reform of "double capacity and double commitment" in Zhaoqing, the project construction party completed the project feasibility study, shoreline, waterway, water conservancy and other special work in one year, and the project officially entered the construction stage.Edit/Ma Xue
