On December 1, 2022, the bidding announcement of lump sum contracting for the construction of the new Tianjin Weifang high-speed railway station was officially released. The whole line of Tianjin Weihai High speed Railway will be officially started on January 1 next year, with a construction period of about five years. It is planned to be completed by the end of October 2027. Previously, Dongying Yellow River Highway and Railway Bridge and Tianjin Jingu Haihe Tunnel, the control projects of "one bridge and one tunnel" of Tianjin Weihai High Speed Railway Project, had officially entered the construction stage at the end of November.

Construction site: Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong

Construction scale: The newly-built Tianjin Weifang high-speed railway line starts from Binhai Station of Tianjin Terminal, passes through Binhai New Area of Tianjin, Cangzhou City of Hebei Province, Dezhou City, Binzhou City, Dongying City and Weifang City of Shandong Province, and ends at Weifang North Station of Jinan Qingdao high-speed railway. The main line is 348.257 km long, with 10 stations.

Expansion of Binhai West EMU Operation Station, construction of Tianjin Weijin Qinhuangdao connecting line, Tianjin Weijing Binhai connecting line and other supporting projects of Tianjin hub. New Tianjin Weihai Jinan Qingdao connecting line, Weifang North Depot, Dongying South Depot, Binzhou Station, Dongying South Station, Weifang North Station and other related supporting projects.

Scope of bidding and division of bid sections

New Tianjin Weifang High speed Railway Station Front Works and Station Rear Interface Works implemented simultaneously.

The planned construction period is 1764 calendar days, the planned commencement date is January 1, 2023, and the planned completion date is October 31, 2027.

JWZQ-1, quantity: bridge: 23.214km/3, subgrade: 2.593km.

Remaining works in the first section; Civil works of Binhai East Station: 2.593km; Binhai Grand Bridge, Binhai South Grand Bridge A, and Binhai South Grand Bridge B1; Fangliu Road Beam Yard; Fabrication, transportation and erection of box girder in the bid section; Ballastless track construction. Mileage/range: DK25+580~DK51+387, with a length of 25.807km.

JWZQ-2, the project quantity is: bridge: 26.359km/4 sets.

Binhai South Station Elevated Station; Section B2, Section C, Section D and Section E1 of Binhai Nanda Bridge; Taisha Road Beam Yard; Taisha Road track slab yard, track slab prefabrication and transportation; Fabrication, transportation and erection of box girder in the bid section; Ballastless track construction. Mileage/range: DK51+387~DK77+995, 26.359km long.

JWZQ-3, the quantities are: bridge: 35.741km/4, subgrade: 2.356km.

Civil works of Huanghua North Station; Section E2 of Binhai Nanda Grand Bridge, Binhai Nanda Grand Bridge F, Huanghua Grand Bridge A, (Huanghua North Station DK101.203-DK116.056=DK118.122) 14.85km is responsible for the lower part of the bridge; Xiaoxinzhuang Liangchang; Fabrication, transportation and erection of box girder in the bid section; Ballastless track construction. Mileage/range: DK77+995~DK118+126, 38.097km long.

JWZQ-4, the quantities are: bridge: 25.871km/3, subgrade: 1.353km.

Civil works of Haixing West Station; Huanghua Super Major Bridge B, Haixing Super Major Bridge A; For section B1 of Haixing Super Major Bridge, (DK101.203-DK116.056=DK118.122) 14.85km is responsible for girder erection; Liang Chang, Baizhuang Village, and Liang Chang, Youzhuangzi Village; Fabrication, transportation and erection of box girder in the bid section; Ballastless track construction. Mileage/range: DK118+126~DK145+349, 27.224km long.

JWZQ-5, the quantities are: bridge: 30.194km/3, subgrade: 1.326km.

Civil works of Wudi East Station; Section B2 of Haixing Super Major Bridge, Haixing Super Major Bridge C, Haixing Super Major Bridge D; Hulutou Village Liang Chang; Fabrication, transportation and erection of box girder in the bid section; Ballastless track construction. Mileage/range: DK145+349~DK176+869, 31.520km long.

JWZQ-6, quantity: bridge: 31.907km/3.
