Recently, the construction of Xi'an Yan'an High speed Railway Xi'an Tongchuan Section of Tianfu Chaoyanghu Section of Chengdu Railway Hub, which is jointly built by China Railway, has been intensively started, contributing to the strength of China Railway in densifying the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network.
Tianfu Chaoyang Lake Section of Chengdu Railway Hub
On December 1, 2022, the Tianfu Chaoyang Lake section of Chengdu Railway Terminal, which was surveyed and designed by CREEC and participated by CREEC and Wuhan Electrification Bureau, was officially started.
The Tianfu Chaoyanghu Section of Chengdu Railway Hub is located in the southwest of Chengdu. The self built Chengdu Zigong Railway leads out from Tianfu Station, passing through Tianfu New Area, Shuangliu District and Xinjin District of Chengdu, Pengshan District of Meishan, Qionglai City and Pujiang County of Chengdu, and leads into Chaoyanghu Station of Chengdu Ya'an Railway, which has been put into operation. The main line is 80km long, with a design speed of 160km/h and a construction period of 3.5 years.
The area along the Tianfu Chaoyang Lake section of Chengdu Railway Hub is developing rapidly, with dense traffic and developed rivers. There are more than 70 important traffic and water conservancy facilities control points along the line, many crossing (crossing) over high speed, ordinary speed railways, high-grade highways, and over many rivers and man-made ditches. It is also close to and parallel with the self built railways, the existing Chengdu Pujiang Railway, and the Chengdu Kunming Railway. The whole line is cut by local traffic and rivers and lakes, and there are many large span bridges and bridges with special structures. At the same time, the existing operating railways have a great impact on the project construction.
In order to complete the design blueprint with high quality, the design team of CREEC put forward a new design concept in this project: to facilitate residents to get out of the center, the station adopts the integrated design of the station and the city or the scheme of being close to the city without entering the city; Adhere to the environmental protection route selection, the route is arranged along the existing traffic corridor, and the route in the plain section is mostly arranged by viaducts. The current design scheme has significant social, economic and environmental benefits, realizing the two-way benefits of convenient transportation and driving development.
As an inter regional fast trunk railway with mixed passenger and freight lines, the completion of the project can effectively accelerate the development of tourism in Tianfu, Shuangliu, Xinjin, Meishan, Qionglai, Pujiang and other places along the line, fully serve the people along the line, and drive the economic and social development along the line.
Xi'an Tongchuan Section of West Extension High speed Railway
On November 30, 2022, the construction of Xi'an Tongchuan Section of the West Extension High Speed Railway participated by China Railway Third Engineering Group Co., Ltd. will start, marking the commencement of the whole line of the West Extension High Speed Railway. The further acceleration of the construction of the West Railway will inject new impetus into the rural revitalization of the old revolutionary base areas.
The West Extension High speed Railway is located in Shaanxi Province, with a total length of 299 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is divided into two sections, Xi'an Tongchuan and Tongchuan Yan'an. The total length of Tongchuan Yan'an Section is 208km, and the construction has started on May 1, 2021, with a construction period of 4.5 years.
The total length of the Xi'an Tongchuan section under construction is 91 kilometers, leading out from Xi'an East Railway Station, passing through Gaoling District and Yanliang District of Xi'an City, and Fuping County of Weinan City to Tongchuan City. There are seven stations in total, including Xi'an East Railway Station, Port District East Railway Station, Gaoling Railway Station, Fuping South Railway Station, Tongchuan Railway Station, Xi'an North Railway Station, and Port District. Xi'an North Railway Station is an existing station, and others are new stations. The connecting line between the Port District East Railway Station and Xi'an North Railway Station will be constructed simultaneously, with a construction period of three years.
The West Extension High speed Railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network Baotou, Yinchuan Haikou's Baotou (Yinchuan) Haikou thoroughfare, and its road network status is very important. After the completion of the project, the running time from Xi'an to Yan'an will be shortened from 2.5 hours to about 1 hour, which will greatly facilitate the travel of people along the line. It is of great significance to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation in old revolutionary base areas, comprehensively promote rural revitalization, and form a new pattern of western development.Editor/XuNing
