Project overview

Luzhou Section of Chongqing Xuyong Junlian Expressway is an integral part of Chongqing Xuyong Junlian Expressway, an inter provincial expressway connecting Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and Yunnan. It is one of the 13 horizontal lines in Sichuan Expressway Network Layout Plan (2022-2035) and a key project of efficient and interconnected inter city transportation network in Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle Comprehensive Transportation Development Plan.

The whole line of Luzhou Section of Chongqing Xuyong Junlian Expressway is located in Luzhou City and consists of the main line and Hejiang branch line. The main line starts from the boundary between Sichuan and Chongqing in Hejiang County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, connects the Chongqing section of Chongqing Xuyong Junlian Expressway under construction, passes Hejiang County, Chishui City, Guizhou Province, and Xuyong County, Luzhou City, and ends at the junction of Luzhou and Yibin in the west of Longfeng Town, and connects the planned Yibin section of Chongqing Xuyong Junlian Expressway to be built. The total length in Sichuan is about 69.36 kilometers. The Hejiang Branch Line will be constructed simultaneously, starting from the northwest of Bailu Town, connecting with G93 Chengdu Chongqing Ring Expressway, ending at Fubao Town, and connecting with the main line of the project, with a length of about 23.56 km. The total length of the project route is about 92.92 km, and the estimated total investment of the project is 16.422 billion yuan.

technical standard

The project adopts the standard construction of two-way four lane expressway. The design speed of the section from the starting point of the main line to Xuyong West Hub is 100km/h, and the subgrade width is 26m; The design speed of the main line from Xuyong West Hub to the terminal and Hejiang Branch is 80km/h, and the subgrade width is 25.5m. The design vehicle load of bridge and culvert adopts highway class I; Asphalt concrete pavement is adopted for the whole line.
