GEPIC Yuhen Mahuangtan No.1 Wind Farm is located in the Gobi Beach, about 32km northeast of Yumen City, Jiuquan City. The wind energy resource conditions are good. The total investment of the project is about 1.2 billion yuan, and the total installed capacity is 200 megawatts. This project belongs to the second batch of 5 million kilowatts wind power project of Jiuquan Wind Power Base Phase II, and is also the supporting power supply project of Jiuhu ± 800 DC project. The project adopts 50 sets of Mingyang intelligent semi direct drive wind turbine generator units with a single unit capacity of 4.0 MW, a tower height of 100 meters, and a impeller diameter of 173 meters. The annual grid power is about 600 million kWh. The construction of Mahuangtan Wind Power Project has been strongly supported by Jiuquan City and Yumen City, and has been dedicated by all parties.
