On December 5, 2022, the 2022 China Arab Media Cooperation Forum was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The forum was jointly hosted by China Central Radio and Television and the Saudi Ministry of Information. With the theme of "strengthening exchanges and mutual learning, and promoting the building of a community of shared future between China and Arab countries", more than 150 guests from China and 22 Arab countries, including government officials, representatives of media institutions, experts and scholars, participated in the forum in an online and offline way.

Saudi Minister of Commerce and Acting Press Secretary Majid Kasby pointed out in his video address that the Arab countries regard China as a reliable partner for achieving common development in all fields. They look forward to strengthening cultural exchanges between the two sides through this forum, promoting people to people exchanges and promoting development in all fields. Mohammed Harihi, CEO of the Saudi Broadcasting and Television Bureau and Chairman of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, said that Arab China relations have made great progress in the past few years. He hoped that Arab Chinese media would take this forum as an opportunity to assume media responsibilities, strengthen exchanges and dialogue, tighten cooperation ties, and work together to promote the building of a community of shared future between Arab and China.
