Recently, Xinjiang Communications Investment Group won the bid for two highway projects with a total investment of about 8.8 billion yuan.

National Highway 219 Aksu Wensu Wushi Ahqi Section

Starting and ending points of the route: the starting point of the route is located in the east of the north outer ring fork of Aksu City, and the ending point is located in the north of Jialangqi New District, Ahqi County, connecting with the highway from Ahqi County to Bapan Shuimo Section of G219 under construction.

Route direction: The route starts at the east side of the north outer ring fork in Aksu City, with the design starting point chainage of K1782+000, runs through Aksu City, Wushi County and Akqi County from east to west, and ends at the east side of Jialangqi New District in Akqi, connects with Akqi Bapanshuimo Highway, with the design ending point chainage of K1945+400.

Construction scale: The total construction mileage of the project is 166.40km, of which the main line is 163.40km long. The whole line is constructed by two-way 4-lane first-class highway with a design speed of 100km/h. In this project, a total of 1 super large bridge of 1628m is set, and 1 super large bridge of 1088m is widened by using the original bridge; 14 bridges with a length of 2438m and 4 bridges with a length of 510m widened by using the original bridge; 31 medium bridges with a length of 1549m, and 10 medium bridges with a length of 524m will be widened by using the original bridge; 2002.58/99 small bridges, 67 of which are 1357.32 m wide by using the original bridge; There are 592 culverts, 4 interchanges, 24 grade crossings, 2 service areas, 3 parking areas, 3 maintenance work areas, 1 management sub center and 2 toll stations. The total length of the connecting line is 3km, which is constructed according to the standard of Class III highway. The design speed is 40km/h, and the subgrade width is 8.5m. The design vehicle load grade of bridges and culverts along the whole line is highway - Grade I, and necessary traffic engineering and facilities along the line shall be constructed simultaneously. The total investment of the project is 5.37 billion yuan, including 5.24 billion yuan of static investment.

Kuqa Shaya Highway Project of National Highway 217

Starting and ending points of the route: the route starts at K1077 of the old G217 line, is located on the existing G217 line about 5.5 km south of Yanyanggou Toll Station, and is about 4.5 km away from the existing G217 and G3012 Tuhe Expressway intersection (double trumpet interchange) in the northwest of Kuqa City. A grade crossing is set up, and the end point is located in the southwest of Shaya County, near Kiziltamu Village. The overall trend is from north to south. The total length of the route is 80.380 km.

Route direction: the starting point of the route is located at K1077+000 of the old G217 line, and the existing G217 line about 5.5 km south of Yanyanggou Toll Station is set with a level crossing. The route is routed along the outside of the urban planning on the west side of Kuqa City, connected to the west side of the urban area of Kuqa City and connected with G3012 Line Tuhe Expressway, and set with a Tur interchange. This section of road is constructed according to the standard of secondary road, and the length of the route is 14.018 km. After crossing the Tuhe Expressway of G3012 Line, the route is routed eastward along the north side of the planned reservoir and the south side of the Qiuci Airport, crossing the Southern Xinjiang Railway for about 7.6km, crossing the existing National Highway 217, and setting up a Kuqa South Interchange. The route is further away from the old road and paralleled with the old road for about 1km. The route passes through the west side of Bixibage Township. After avoiding the village, the route goes south to Qiman Town, crosses the Yingdalia River on a bridge at K34+330, and sets Qiman Town interchange near K42+130. The route continues southward to enter Shaya County at stake K42+725, crosses the Shore Aiken River at K56+050, passes through Nurbak Township, crosses from the east of Kuoshdun Village, the west of Adam Village and Yingawati Village southward, crosses the Weigan River southward, and reaches the east of Beihailou Township in Shaya County. The route passes through the west of the planning area of Shaya County to the south. Shaya County Interchange is set at K73+813 to connect the main urban road of Shaya County. The route turns to the southwest via the east side of Kashbak Village and the north side of Kizil Tamu. The terminal is located in the southwest of Shaya County, near Kizil Tamu Village, and 1.1km north of the existing G217. The total length of the route is 80.380 km. The overall trend of the whole line is from north to south.

Construction scale: the total mileage of the project is 80.38km, including 66.362km of Class I highway, 100km/h design speed, 14.018km of Class II highway, and 80km/h. A total of 997/4 (m/set) major bridges, 1080.4/19 (m/set) medium bridges, 560.7/26 (m/set) small bridges, 39 channels, 151 culverts, 4 interchanges, 1 section monitoring communication station, 4 toll stations, 1 service area, and 1 maintenance area have been built. The design vehicle load grade of bridge and culvert is highway - Grade I. Necessary traffic projects and facilities along the line shall be constructed simultaneously.
