On December 7, 2022, the Bidding Announcement for the Bidding of BWZH-1, BWZH-2, and BWZH-3 Bid Sections of Binzhou, Dongying South, and Weifang North Terminal of the New Tianjin Weifang High Speed Railway and Related Projects for Lump Sum Construction Contracting was released. The bidding for the remaining bid sections of Tianjin Weihai High speed Railway Shandong Section Binzhou, Dongying, Weifang Hub and Weifang Section main line has been started, and the whole line will be officially started in January 2023.

Project overview

Construction site: Binzhou City, Dongying City, Weifang City, Shandong Province.

Construction scale: The newly-built Tianjin Weifang high-speed railway line starts from Binhai Station of Tianjin Terminal, passes through Binhai New Area of Tianjin, Cangzhou City of Hebei Province, Dezhou City, Binzhou City, Dongying City and Weifang City of Shandong Province, and ends at Weifang North Station of Jinan Qingdao high-speed railway. The main line is 348.257 km long, with 10 stations.

Among them, the construction scope of China Railway Jinan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. covers Binzhou, Dongying South, Weifang North hubs and related projects, and the specific content is: from the end of Wudi Bridge abutment to the end of Bindong Yellow River Bridge abutment on the main line DK222+349.43 to DK225+767.55 of Binzhou Station; Main line DK272+087.69 to DK274+801.6 of Dongying South Railway Station from the end of Bindong Yellow River Grand Bridge abutment to Dongshou Grand Bridge abutment; Main line DK307+656.14 (Dongying Weifang boundary, Dongshou Grand Bridge 669 pier to Shouguang East Station to Weifang North Station.

Scope of bidding and division of bid sections

The construction scope of the newly-built Tianjin Weifang High speed Railway, which is entrusted by China Railway Jinan Bureau Group Co., Ltd., does not include station buildings, CRTS III track slab prefabrication and transportation, long track laying on the main line, and four electricity integration.

All project contents and costs in the above scope from construction preparation to completion and production transfer. The main works include construction preparation, road diversion, ditch diversion, pre station works, four electricity works, houses, other operation and production equipment and buildings, large temporary facilities and transition works, auxiliary works, etc.

Division of bid sections: This bidding is divided into three sections, BWZH-1 to BWZH-3. The main contents and quantities of each section are:

Section BWZH-1: mileage/range: DK222+349.43-DK225+767.55; DK272+087.69-DK274+801.6。

Main contents and quantities: including 7km subgrade, 5 743m bridges, 2 stations: one 79.20m simply supported beam of Dongying Nancheng Tonglang double track, one 35.27m Wudi Grand Bridge, two 545.18m single track bridges of Binzhou Station and work area, and one 86.2m single track bridge of Dongying South Station and parking lot; Binzhou Station, Dongying South Station and related supporting projects.

Section BWZH-2: mileage/range: DK307+656.14-DK343+874.81.

Main contents and quantities: including 1.21km subgrade, 35.103km bridge and 1 station. One Dongshou Grand Bridge with a length of 35.103km; Shouguang East Station and related supporting projects; Huliang Field of Jingdian Lake.

WZH-3 section: mileage/range: DK343+874.81 - Jinan Qingdao DK189+762.70; Jiqing DK189+762.70 - Jiqing DK192+550; Tianjin Weihai Jiqing connecting line: down connecting line: JWJQLDK0+000 ～ JWJQLDK190+065.97; Up link line: JWJQSLDK0+000 ～ JWJQSLDK190+065.97; Connecting line between Weisu and Jiqing.

Main contents and quantities: including 4.37km subgrade, three 35.630km bridges and one station.
